Sophie Chirico has been trying to fly since she was a little girl, but that dream came to reality when she took her first aerial silks class in 2012. She is now a multidisciplinary aerial artist specializing in silks, hoop, sling and dance trapeze. She recently graduated from the University of North Carolina at Asheville with a degree in graphic design and hopes to use it in a way that incorporates both visual and circus arts.
