Spectre and Sable are two lifelong-dancers-turned-aerialists who have been moving in parallel and together since 2016. United in their styles by a deep love of technique, limbliness, and all things strange, Spectre and Sable approach their movement with an intent to play and a blank fascination with that fluttering sense of unease sleeping in all our chests.
Based in Charlotte, NC, Spectre and Sable have performed their work at opera galas, in invitational showcases, and for art festivals including Shadows, Critters and Tea, LadyFestCLT, and Bloom.
For over fifteen years, this mother and daughter partnership learned belly dance (from Fusion to FCBD to Cabaret) from various North Carolina teachers (such as Magic-Hips alumni and Sarah Hahn). As a result, they now put together choreographies to songs that inspire them.

By day, Raven Lotus is a UX writer. By night, she’s either flying through the air, dancing her butt off, gliding across the ice, or possibly eating or dancing with fire. Raven started her circus journey only three years ago when she stumbled across a groupon for silks classes at a studio two blocks from her work. From day one, she was hooked. Then, she quickly added lyra and trapeze to her repertoire, and eventually even started to add double loops, fire, and dance silks. Raven has a love for performance, expressing herself through dance and circus arts, and can’t wait to share her latest piece with you.

Allison is originally from the southwest suburbs of Chicago, and moved to Greenville, SC in 2010. She first discovered aerial arts in late 2015 and was instantly hooked. After years of being a dedicated student, she immersed herself in a training program and became a certified aerial instructor for her local studio. That same year, her studio downsized and she started her own coaching and performing business, Skyward Aerial Arts. Allison specializes in aerial sling, but you can also find her training dance trapeze in her free time. When she’s not working or coaching aerials, you can find her running, at the gym, or spending time with her Aussie, Luna. Allison is available for sling classes, private lessons and performances.
