Aerialist, writer, entrepreneur, and weirdo, Rachel began her study of circus arts in 2007. Developing a unique style and approach to aerial hoop, she’s lugged a suitcase extensively across the United States and around the world to perform, coach, and create. Her style has been described as bold and captivating, and tends to focus on such lighthearted themes as the primordial subconscious.
As a performer and choreographer, Rachel is known for pushing the boundaries of aerial hoop, movement quality, and doing weird things like dipping herself in water on stage. She founded the Audacity Project in 2017, and is a proud mentor to over 100 artists in their own creative development. Given to excess and quixotic tendencies, Rachel specializes in aerial hoop choreography and the practice of telling stories.
Happily addicted to morning coffee and overfond of red wine and Netflix marathons, she lives in Charleston, SC with the King of the Scorpios, her insufferably charming husband, Shaun. They have no children so don’t ask, but they would like to meet your dog.
